Dj Bootsie hails from Hungary, by the way I have recently indulged in quite interesting hungarian music like Katai Tamas, VHK, Thy Catafalque and some others not rememberable in this lovely morning.
If I were to tag this album I would say that it is very close to trip-hop. There are some amazing downtempo tracks, like "horseriders towards the abyss" which is my favorite one..I laso enjoy "tango ronin"

Πέθανε στο Παρίσι σε ηλικία 94 ετών ο γαλλόφωνος Αιγύπτιος συγγραφέας Αλμπέρ Κοσερί.

Γεννήθηκε στο Κάιρο στις 3 Νοεμβρίου 1913, γιος ενός εισοδηματία πατέρα και μιας αγράμματης μητέρας. Φοίτησε σε γαλλικά σχολεία του Καΐρου όπου και μυήθηκε από πολύ νωρίς στην κλασική γαλλική λογοτεχνία. Ανακάλυψε το Παρίσι σε ηλικία 17 ετών.
Ο Κοσερί, όπως και οι ήρωές του, είχε επιλέξει να μην έχει προσωπική ιδιοκτησία και ζούσε από το 1945 στο «Λα Λουιζιάν», ένα μικρό ξενοδοχείο στο Σεν-Ζερμάν-ντε-Πρε στο Παρίσι.
«Μέχρι μερικές ημέρες πριν από το θάνατό του, αυτός ο θαυμάσιος άνδρας έκανε το συνηθισμένο γύρο του στα καφέ ντε Φλορ και Ντε Μαγκό», ανέφερε η διοίκηση του ξενοδοχείου.
Στα έργα του έπλεκε το εγκώμιο της ένδειας και της οκνηρίας ως τέχνη και φιλοσοφία ζωής και έφερε στο προσκήνιο τον απλό κόσμο του Καΐρου. Είχε χαρακτηριστεί ως ο «Βολταίρος του Νείλου» για την ειρωνεία του απέναντι στους πλούσιους.
Ο Αλμπέρ Κοσερί είχε γράψει οκτώ βιβλία με σαρκαστικό οίστρο και χιούμορ διαποτισμένο από ανατολική σοφία. Τα βιβλία του έχουν μεταφραστεί σε 15 γλώσσες. Στα ελληνικά έχουν μεταφραστεί τα μυθιστορήματα «Ξεχασμένοι από το Θεό», «Ζητιάνοι και περήφανοι» και «Οι τεμπέληδες στην εύφορη κοιλάδα».
Η Γαλλίδα υπουργός Πολιτισμού Κριστίν Αλμπανέλ απέτισε φόρο τιμής σε «έναν πρίγκιπα και έναν εστέτ της γαλλικής λογοτεχνίας», έναν «αμέριμνο δανδή, ερωτευμένο με τη Γαλλία που έκανε το Σεν Ζερμάν ντε Πρε των γραμμάτων το βασίλειό του».
Από την πλευρά της, η Ασμάα αλ-Μπάκρι, η Αιγύπτια σκηνοθέτης που μετέφερε στον κινηματογράφο το μυθιστόρημα «Ζητιάνοι και περήφανοι» το 1991, εξέφρασε τη λύπη και τόνισε ότι της άρεσαν οι ιδέες του «όσον αφορά την ένδεια και το χλευασμό απέναντι στη βία».
