is london a safe city thanks to the thousands of CCTV cameras that record us constantly in our every day life? or is it london still a safe city despite all those cameras? Is it actually london a safe city?
Benjamin Disraeli once said, "London is a modern Babylon." To which we can only reply, "Sure hope so." Without that air of hedonistic excess that only London can exude, it'd simply be just another party town.
they never said that the cameras would be for the safety of London. actually this project was invented before "terrorism" and i mean that cctv works as any other cop in the system."some" are caught ,"some" not.
in UK the cctv works for nothing. the crime is doubled tripled over those years. this project i think that helps the strong manipulation of the most quiet politically nation of the world... dont forget that Brits is the only nation that hasn't any strong contravoice against the will of the power. not even one revolution , except some minor strikes, which in other countries its in the daily news..not ever yten years.
dont forget that UK was brutalising the world before usa, with the exact same methods. and i mean by that, that UK was always a semimilitaristic regime, which made serious enemies though the years. therefore the threat of terrorism is in fact their own result of what the Brits done in the past. and when u live under this threat combined with the proven criminality that occurs in London from the beggining as a large city ,even before this century ,...paranoia strikes...

personally i think that the cctv system is a lie. because this system is working through the people, ordinary people. i bet a lot of cameras are show offs as in many other countries (like greece) and only a small number is actually working, because the real cost is to enormous even for UK (work hours, research, data exc)
the brits said that the soviets was the worst regime ever invented by mankind... i answer to them with this simple comparison. imagine moscow in soviet times with the current cctv system of london.... whatever the bad things and the political riot against the freedom of the people, that the brits would say about the soviets, is the correct answer to their problem
