Music for lovers and gansters
Bain Wolfkind hails from Australia. His music in this album is not easy to describe, because there are a lot of differents sounds there(no black metal influences unfortunatelly like the post below, pity for the brutal ones!). This album could also be a soundtrack. I was reall touched by the vocals, dark and haunting
This how Bain Wolfkind describes himself...
BAIN WOLFKIND IS THE NOM DE GUERRE FOR AUSTRALIA'S LOUNGE LOTHARIO; AN ELVIS MAN, A LADIES' MAN, A JAZZMAN, AND A MAN'S MAN, BAIN WOLFKIND CREATES TUNES FOR THE BACK ROOMS, THE DARKENED CORNERS, THE CRIME-RIDDEN STREETS OF AN IMAGINED FUTURE CITY WHERE THE MEN METE OUT THEIR OWN BRANDS OF PERSONAL JUSTICE AND THE LADIES ARE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE GOODS FOR NOTHING MORE THAN A DEATHLY-DRY MARTINI AND A LITTLE SWEET-TALK.
His music, in his last.fm page, is described as
a minimalised and post-industrialised version of artists like Lee Hazlewood with dark brooding vocals and slow blues, rock, country, psychedelic, cinematic, surf, swamp and electronic overtones.
